Financial Objectives 2007

With a greater demand upon the organization to meet existing needs, the Financial Development committee of NSC is committed to the establishment of a more effective development program to stabilize and increase funding over the long term.

An initial emphasis will be to secure multi-year funding for the existing Adventure Time, Tweens and My Time Teen Sessions of NSC's year-round camping program. This will include supportive enrichment and recreational programs, as well as general operating expenses, but also to allow for expansion as requested and needed.

The recently re-structured Development committee is developing a plan to:

1. Secure grant funding from foundations and other organizations interested in supporting the type of programs NSC offers.
2. Improve communications and solicitation methods to secure additional funding from sources already contributing to NSC Programs. This will entail a well-organized annual fund campaign.
3. Develop a successful annual fund-raising event both to secure funding and to enhance community awareness of NSC.
