How To Become A Volunteer

Becoming an NSC Volunteer is easy.

1.  Fill out an Interest Form, an Adult Volunteer Application .

2.  Bring or mail your forms to the Neighborhood Service Council office.

3.  Attend a Training Session.

4.  Volunteer

NSC’s office is located at 13539 Peyton Road, Dallas 75254, just east of the entrance to Spring Valley United Methodist Church.

Note: Because NSC works with children and youth, volunteers and staff must pass a Criminal Background Check. No one convicted of a felony or misdemeanor classified as an offense against the person or family, a felony or misdemeanor classified as public indecency or a felony conviction of any law intended to control the possession or distribution of any substance included in the Texas Controlled Substance Act may work with Neighborhood Service Council children.
